I haven't been back to blog for quite some time now. I have taken a look around the LibraryThing and created yet another account to access this.
I have also included a link to my bloglines but I'm not sure as to whether I have done this correctly. Also had a little look at Rollyo and how to create a search roll but as yet I haven't attempted anything.

RSS and Bloglines

Well what can i say, up until now Iv'e been able to keep up with things in a fashion. It may not be to the same standard as others but it has been to the best of my ability. I've had look at some of the other library participants blogs and was glad to see that my blog is at a similar standard. I can honestly say I'm struggling with the RSS and the bloglines, although I have managed to set up a blogline account. I'm finding it difficult to find the time as the 15 min suggested just isn't enough time for people like me. I don't think I'd ever see the need to use any of this in the near future and to me is one of those things if you don't use it all the time then you would struggle to remember how to use it. Anyway I will give it another try tomorrow with a little help from Rose and see how it goes, I won't let it beat me just yet !!!!!!!

Apple i Pod MP3 player

Although I don't yet own one of these it will be at the top of my christmas wish list. This Apple iPod MP3 player has 30 GB(hard drive), 7500 songs, 6.24oz, audio files. It has no fancy features, is easy to use with no complicated buttons. I have chosen Apple because it is a well known name at a very reasonable price. Once i have one of these little beauties in my possession then i can listen to my favourite music while walking, relaxing on the sofa or on long drives.

Week 3 # Discovering Flickr

What a fantastic day it is today, the sun is shinning and there is very little wind. If we can't have rain we may as well have beautiful weather. I have chosen the sunset and the campsite image as there is nothing better than being down the river with family and friends enjoying a quiet drink while watching the sun set over the mighty murray river.
With this activity i have played around with flickr and looked at lots of photos and images. The uploading was easy (I think I've done this right). Well bye til next week.

BACK AGAIN

Well here I am again, it's been almost a week since my last attempt at this. Today is going to be yet another challenge with having to add a picture. Having co- workers helping each other with this activity has been great. Well it's time to go home now, and im impressed with what i've done today.

No rain in sight

I was lucky enough to be on a late today so I thought I would go for my daily trek down the river, I even managed to get enough enthusiasm to jog for a very short distance (very short i might add, have to remember I'm off to work later.) To my surprise there seemed to be lots more sand and less water, a bit frightning although to be expected since it doesn't know how to rain here anymore. Once again the predictions for rain today has not come true but then the day is not yet over. I often wonder about how in other part of the world there is floods, cyclones and tsunamis devastating peoples lives and yet we can't manage to get a few millimeters of rain. On a positive note there has been word that when a certain Blackbox tree starts growing it's a good sign that rain is coming. We will wait and see what may happen !!!!

Tuesday September 18

Well hi there fellow bloggers, today is nearly over and its almost time to hit the road home. I shouldn't really complain as home is opposite our magnificient Murray River. Even though there is very little water in there at present it is still worth taking a long leisurely walk along the long winding river tracks. I often wonder whether we will ever get to see our river again, as it was only a few short years ago.
